Today is Monday, December 20th. This morning there was a major line break along highway 101 caused by a landslide adjacent to the entrance to the Newport Airport. Our field crews have made temporary repairs to the water line and have put the system back in service. Any time there is a line break with a loss of pressure a Boil Water Advisory Notice must be issued as a precaution. The Boil Water Notice Advisory is only for 95th & 97th Courts and SW Brant & SW Abalone Streets. This advisory will stay in affect and will not be lifted most likely for a few days depending on when we receive the test results. Please visit our website for updates & more information at srwd.org.
